Jersey Mike's Subs is a national sandwich chain with nearly 2,000 locations throughout the United States. The organization has a rich history of community giving and has made massive investments in national sponsorships including professional and collegiate sports. They also encourage all of their franchisees to embrace grassroots initiatives and sponsorships throughout their local communities. Facing a high volume of continual requests in the face of finite sponsorship budgets, franchisees in the New England region needed a consistent approach to achieve the following primary goals:

 

  • Manage a high-volume of sponsorship proposals efficiently and effectively

  • Evaluate and measure local sponsorships to ensure appropriate returns

Solution

 

R.O.O. Sponsorship met with local Jersey Mike's franchisees, hosting in-person workshops to learn about their current proposal workflow and overall sponsorship strategy, goals and objectives. We then developed, implemented and managed the following elements on an ongoing basis:

 

  • Online weighted questionnaires to make the sponsorship proposal process more automated and consistent

  • Customized reporting and dashboards to illustrate which sponsorships best achieve desired objectives
